A Little Creativity. A Lot of Joy.

I'm B. Willow Fields, and many of the books I create are inspired by the people I love most.

My journey into children’s books began with my two young grandchildren. Watching them learn, explore, laugh, and discover the world around them made me want to create books that could become part of those everyday moments we share with little ones. That inspiration grew into Little Hands Big World, my children’s brand under Firefly Ridge Creations.

I create coloring books, activity books, early readers, and stories with a simple goal: to make learning feel fun, approachable, and something families can enjoy together. I especially love creating books that encourage early literacy, creativity, parent-child interaction, and quiet-time activities. Some of my books also introduce simple American Sign Language (ASL) as another way for young children and their families to explore words and communication together.

I also create activity and coloring books for adults, because I believe creativity, play, and a little time to unwind are important at every age.

I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to retire early and spend more time doing the things that bring me joy. I love watercolor painting, creating new books, and letting one creative idea lead to the next. When I’m not working on a project, I’m happiest spending time on the lake with my wonderfully supportive husband, being with my daughter, and making memories with my grandchildren.

They are a big part of the reason this creative chapter began, and I hope the books I make bring other families some of the same joy, connection, and happy little moments they have brought to mine.
